ACE accredited platforms

ACE is a leading advocate in making education accessible to underrepresented groups. Established in 1918, ACE has a rich history of significantly improving the educational system. In 1942, ACE played a crucial role in launching the GED program, which has benefited countless individuals. ACE is widely respected as the primary major higher education association. ACE-accredited courses are essential for earning your degree in less time and at a lower cost. ACE operates as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, for which I am personally grateful.

From the ACE website, "The American Council on Education (ACE) is a membership organization that leads higher education with a united vision for the future. We galvanize our members to make change and we collaborate across the sector to design solutions for today’s challenges, serve the needs of a diverse student population, and shape effective public policy. As the major coordinating body for the nation’s colleges and universities, our strength lies in our diverse membership of more than 1,600 colleges and universities, related associations, and other organizations in the United States and abroad. ACE is the only major higher education association to represent all types of U.S. accredited, degree-granting colleges and universities. Our members educate two out of every three students in all accredited, degree-granting U.S. institutions." https://www.acenet.edu

Study.com is a platform offering ACE-accredited courses that can be transferred to numerous universities and colleges. They provide over 220 courses, covering both general education and upper-level subjects. Using Study.com is essential for accelerating your progress toward earning your degree. Not only have I taken advantage of this opportunity, but so have my son and daughter.

The courses on Study.com run smoothly and are easy to navigate. Personally, I found several courses enjoyable and the teaching methods easy to follow, allowing me to learn at my own pace.

Exams on Study.com are straightforward and align closely with the course material. While their upper-level courses may appear longer compared to platforms like Sophia, they are rich in content and enjoyable. Study.com offers a wide range of upper-level courses, from psychology to history, which can significantly save time and money when starting your degree program.

Exams are proctored, but the process is straightforward if you follow their instructions carefully.

Study.com charges a monthly fee of $235, which includes two proctored exams. Each additional exam costs $70. You can complete up to two courses per month within this fee structure, or pay $70 for each additional course completed in the same month. This cost is significantly lower compared to traditional university fees for earning upper-level credits. You can also pause your membership, making it convenient to resume where you left off.

To transfer my ACE-earned credit hours to my university, I used Credly.

Full disclosure: I was so impressed with Study.com that I applied and became an ambassador for the platform. One of my motivations was the positive impact it had on my educational journey, and I wanted others to have the same opportunities. As a Study.com ambassador, I have my own referral link with a discount offer. ******Referral Link: https://bit.ly/4ei2a8w

If you want more information about Study.com, I recommend visiting their site. You can see all the courses they offer and just how amazing this platform is.

Sophia Learning is another primary platform offering ACE-accredited courses. Many students, including my daughter and son, have taken advantage of their courses to save time and money in earning their degrees.

Sophia offers over 60 courses covering a variety of general education subjects like Math and English. Their courses are well-structured, user-friendly, and easily accessible. Some courses were particularly instrumental in preparing me to write papers at a university level. Sophia allows you to progress at your own pace, with no proctored tests. While there are very few upper-level courses, the extensive range of general education courses is widely accepted by many universities and colleges.

Sophia charges a monthly fee of $99 with no limit on the number of courses you can complete. This flexibility enables you to finish more than two courses a month. Courses vary in the amount of required essays or projects, but they are designed to help students learn effectively and progress toward their higher education goals. Sophia is indispensable for anyone looking to save time and money on their educational journey.

Sophia was crucial in my educational goals and dreams. I was inspired to become an ambassador for this amazing educational platform. All I get in return is the joy of knowing that others can take advantage of this great opportunity. The more educated Chicanos/Latinos, minorities, or people that just want to improve their life or situation is a blessing to me.

There are other ACE accredited platforms, such as StraighterLine and Saylor Academy, but after extensive research, Study.com and Sophia were overwhelmingly recommended by the majority.

Another option is CLEP (College Level Examination Program), highly recommended by many. CLEP credits are earned by passing exams accepted by over 2,900 colleges and universities.

CLEP exams cost around $95 each. Additionally, Modern States offers a program where they cover the cost of your CLEP exam if you complete their course.

From Modern States website: "Modern States Education Alliance™ is a non-profit dedicated to making a high quality college education free of cost and accessible to any person who seeks one.
